Senior Java Developer
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Development team to implement web-based applications and software services for the Vendio and OpenSky sites
- Collaborate with Product Management and Web Design to define user-driven features and services
- Design and code applications from conception to launch
- Contribute to application and site architecture
- Verify and actively drive application quality and performance
- Support Customer Service and QA teams by quickly providing solutions for bugs
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends on the web
Mandatory Skills:
- BSc degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent Java programming skills, experience with J2EE applications
- Excellent with data structures and algorithms
- Strong software development skills
- Willingness to work with different programming languages
- Well organized with clear, effective communication skills
Optional/Pluses:
- Experience in web development
- Experience with Spring and Hibernate
- Experience in working with MySQL
- Experience with PHP and/or perl
Senior PHP Developer
Role and Responsibilities:

Senior Front-End Developer
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Creative and Development teams to define and implement user-driven features
- Own the front-end design and experience for one or more of our product areas
- Deliver reliable, maintainable, clean code that is built for performance
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends on the web
Mandatory Skills:
- 4+ years experience working on highly-scalable web applications
- Expert-level proficiency in HTMLCSS (Less/Sass) and JavaScript
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks
- Experience building web pages with a web template system
- Good understanding of web performance and SEO best practices
- Working knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional programming
- Comfortable working in an agile workflow and a fast paced environment
Optional/Pluses:
- BSc degree in Computer Science or related field
- Good understanding of web standards, usability principles, and accessibility
- PHP programming knowledge
- Familiarity with Symfony and/or Twig
